Edgewater, MD – October 14, 2025 — Hyatt Commercial announced the sale and closing of Casa Rio Marina at 4079 Cadle Creek Road in Edgewater, Maryland, for $4.6 million. Jeff Griesbauer and Judith Neighoff of Hyatt Commercial brokered the transaction and represented the Seller.
The second-generation, family-owned boatyard sold to a long-standing local marine service operator and his son. Together, they plan to continue the marina’s tradition of providing high-quality, community-driven service to the boating community.
Nestled along the protected waters of Cadle Creek off the Rhode River, Casa Rio Marina spans approximately 6.5 acres. It offers a safe harbor with 35 wet slips and 200 on-land storage spaces. The location also provides convenient access to the Chesapeake Bay while maintaining the calm and security of an inland creek.
