Gambrills, MD, September 17, 2024 – Hyatt Commercial proudly announces that Nico’s Bagels & Brunch, a New York-style bagel eatery with a heartfelt mission, will soon open at 991 Waugh Chapel Way in Gambrills, MD. This newly constructed retail building is fully leased and positioned next to Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, which is anchored by Wegmans and St. John Properties’ 24-acre, 225,000-square-foot business park.
John Gallagher of Hyatt Commercial represented the Tenant, Nico’s Bagels & Brunch, in this deal. The two-building retail strip also includes Mucho Gusto, Glow Nail Bar, and Gold Fish Swim School as co-tenants.
Nico’s Bagels & Brunch will feature a menu filled with freshly made bagels, bagel sandwiches, salads, coffee, and gelato. Founded by Jerry Osuna in memory of his son Nico, who tragically lost his battle with mental illness, the eatery has a special purpose. A portion of sales from select menu items will be donated to the Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
“We’re excited to bring Nico’s Bagels & Brunch to the Gambrills community. Here, we can share our love of fresh, authentic bagels while supporting a cause that’s so close to our hearts,” Osuna said.
Bill Steffey and George Shenas of Hyatt Commercial represented the Landlord, while Reliable Commercial Construction completed the buildout for the Tenant. Nico’s grand opening is set for mid-October.
