Solid Paving & Concrete Purchases 2901 Riva Trace Parkway in Annapolis

Annapolis, MD – May 30, 2025 – Solid Paving & Concrete has acquired 2901 Riva Trace Parkway in Annapolis, Maryland. The 5,599 square foot commercial property was brokered by Hyatt Commercial, with George Shenas and Collin Mercier representing the buyer in the transaction.

With more than two decades of expertise, Solid Paving & Concrete has managed over $50 million in projects across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. The company has built its reputation on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

“We’re excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Mid-Atlantic,” said the owners of Solid Paving. “This new location will allow us to better serve our clients and strengthen our presence across the region.”

Founded by James Glotfelty and Ryan Pollack—longtime friends who met in high school—Solid Paving & Concrete began with a shared vision to deliver a more personalized, customer-focused experience in the paving and concrete industry. After working 15 and 10 years respectively at a larger firm, the two recognized an opportunity to branch out. As a result, they left the big shop to build something of their own.

With guidance from mentors and a clear business strategy, they launched Solid Paving. Within just 18 months, the company experienced rapid growth and reached an immediate need for a formal headquarters.

The purchase of 2901 Riva Trace Parkway marks a significant milestone for the company’s continued expansion.
