Gordon joined Hyatt Commercial as a Broker Associate, bringing over four decades of experience in real estate across Hawaii and Maryland. He was first licensed in 1976 as a Realtor Associate in Maui and earned his Broker’s license in 1978, when he became Branch Manager of Pali Kai Realtors in Kihei.
In 1981, Gordon and his wife Barbara founded Maui Island Real Estate, where he was a consistent top producer. His leadership in the industry led him to serve as President of the Maui Board of Realtors in 1987 and as a two-time Director of the Hawaii Association of Realtors. He was also recognized as “Realtor of the Year” and “Educator of the Year” by the Maui Board.
A lifelong educator and advocate for professional excellence, Gordon achieved Senior Instructor status and taught numerous courses within the National Association of Realtors’ GRI series and Continuing Education programs for the Hawaii Real Estate Commission. He has received his Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB) designation from the National Association of Realtors and also holds the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation—widely regarded as the “Ph.D. of Commercial Real Estate.”
Since relocating to Maryland in 2000, Gordon has specialized in the sales, leasing, and management of commercial real estate, continuing to bring integrity, expertise, and a deep commitment to his clients and community.
