Dennis C. Murphy

Dennis Murphy is a Partner and Associate Broker with Hyatt Commercial Real Estate, bringing decades of leadership experience in commercial real estate and economic development. Prior to merging his company with Hyatt Commercial, he owned and led Murphy Commercial Real Estate Services, served as Managing Partner of Murphy Hogan Commercial Real Estate Services, and was President of Smithy Braedon/ONCOR International, one of the Washington metropolitan area’s largest privately held commercial real estate firms.

A native Washingtonian and decorated Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Murphy has held senior leadership roles at the local, regional, and state levels, including President and CEO of the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation and senior positions with the Maryland Department of Economic and Community Development and the Greater Washington Board of Trade. His extensive civic and industry leadership includes serving as President of the Maryland Industrial Development Association; board member of the American Economic Development Council, Maryland Stadium Authority, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Corporate Council, SunTrust Bank, and the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors; and Past Chairman of the Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce.
