Our Story
Founded in 1961 by Louis Hyatt, Hyatt Commercial quickly distinguished itself through Lou's entrepreneurial spirit, local relationships, and unwavering professionalism. Over 60 years later, under the leadership of industry veterans Justin Mullen and Joe Brown, Hyatt has become the largest commercial brokerage team headquartered in Anne Arundel County. The Company’s comprehensive property services now extend throughout the mid-Atlantic region, providing brokerage and property management expertise.
In 2021, Hyatt Commercial merged with The Reliable Group, forming a partner-owned, full-service commercial real estate powerhouse. This transformative union expanded company offerings to include Commercial Construction, Land Development, and Residential Management, further enhancing a commitment to building lasting client relationships.
Continuing its growth trajectory, in 2022, Hyatt acquired Murphy Commercial, a respected competitor in the brokerage industry. This strategic move further solidified their position as market leaders and reinforced its dedication to serving clients with industry experts who demonstrate high integrity.
In 2023, Hyatt expanded again by adding brokerage services into Washington D.C., Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The continued growth is the result of a client-centric approach, combining deep market knowledge, clear communication, and an unwavering commitment to achieving clients' goals.
