Gambrills, MD – July 29, 2026 – Hyatt Commercial is pleased to announce that Kiddie Academy will break ground on a new location in Gambrills, Maryland. The ceremony will take place on July 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Specifically, the event will be held at 909 St. Stephens Church Rd., near Severn Chapel Crossing, a retail development currently in the planning stages in Anne Arundel County.
A New Home for a Growing Academy
The new academy will occupy a 3.25-acre retail pad site. Notably, Hyatt Commercial recently helped bring the site to sale. John Sindler of Hyatt Commercial represented the buyer, KA Gambrills, LLC. Meanwhile, Bill Steffey of Hyatt Commercial represented the seller in the transaction. Additionally, Hyatt Commercial is marketing retail space at the nearby Severn Chapel Crossing development.
This will be the second Kiddie Academy location for the ownership group. Previously, the group opened its original academy at the Town Center in Odenton, Maryland. Once complete, the new facility will offer care and educational programming for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-k students. It will also provide before and after care, along with summer camp options.
