Annapolis, MD — August 30, 2023 — Hyatt Commercial, a leading name in commercial real estate, is proud to
announce the successful two deal transaction for the Maryland Municipal League (MML). The deals involved the
sale of MML’s long-standing property, located at 1212 West St, and the subsequent relocation to a new office space
at 45-47 State Circle in Downtown Annapolis.
Hyatt Commercial’s team of John Gallagher, Shane Denman and Justin Mullen orchestrated the transactions,
representing MML as the Seller in the property sale while also securing their new office lease. The Maryland
Municipal League’s former headquarters, a +/- 7,500 square foot building, sold to the Chesapeake Conservancy for
$2,500,000. The property had been home to MML’s headquarters for over three decades and will now be named the
Earl Conservation Center.
“It has been a pleasure working with John Gallagher and his team at Hyatt,” said Theresa Kuhns, CEO of Maryland
Municipal League. “Their expertise, professionalism, and dedication were instrumental in achieving our goals. We
are thrilled to be opening in our new location and be a voice to the 159 local governments we represent.”
The new office space at 45-47 State Circle strategically aligns with MML’s mission, being just steps away from the
Maryland State House. This prime location positions MML to better advocate, empower, and protect the interests of
all the cities and towns they represent across the State.
“Our commitment to delivering exceptional services, coupled with a deep understanding of the local real estate
market, allowed us to navigate both the sale and lease process and ultimately ensure a smooth transition for our
client. The per square foot price of this asset highlights the strength and resiliency of the Annapolis office submarket
which continues to see strong demand, especially within the owner/user space, and we could not be more thrilled for
MML,” said Senior Vice President, John Gallagher.
